There is a group on facebook for writers who wish to write for young adult readers. It is a chance to ask questions and get to know other writers and learn about their experiences.
What
is suitable for a YA audience? As a former teacher, I am tempted to say
"practically anything" but in practice, I have left graphic sex and
violence out of my writing and tried to keep a straightforward sentence
structure.
I also have a dislike of non-linear narrative but that's just
a foible.
